2014 Class Project

The Class of 2014 has been working with Matt Urban Hope Center since the conclusion of their class year. They have assisted with fundraisers, gathered donations and are now working on the Warming Center Project; turning the basement of the Hope Center on Paderewski Drive into a warming center for those Code Blue nights to come.

The Matt Urban Hope Center is a community resource hub for residents in the City of Buffalo and for all served by our homeless outreach efforts. We provide for basic needs, transportation to shelter, linkages to services and benefits, and job training with the end goal of securing employment and housing for individuals and families.

This year, the 2014 class's goal is to expand services and reach out to the homeless by providing them with life-saving shelter at the Hope Center during Code Blue nights, when the temperatures plunge below freezing. In order to accomplish this, they need cots, bedding, storage and renovations to our spare storage room.

Your donation will help pay for the materials we need to fully renovate and organize this space in order to make it suitable to shelter the homeless and save lives.
