Part-Time Program Assistant

The Temporary Part-Time Program Assistant is responsible for a variety of needs of Leadership Buffalo. This job will require a schedule of three full days a week, total of 24 hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week. These functions include but are not limited to the following:

Administrative:

  • Maintaining Prospect and LB Data Base
  • General Administrative Duties as necessary for programs
  • Reception / Phones
  • Assist with CEO’s scheduling
  • Support Alumni Events

Administrative – back up on:

  • Board Meeting – attendance, take minutes

Support for programs:

  • Class Experience (CE) / Rising Leaders (RL)
    • Prepare all materials for transport for the day sessions.
    • Be the point person to set up day in morning with caterers and materials.
    • Point person to meet caterers at lunch, speakers, etc.
    • Making calls to potential speakers and locations for programs – assisting program manager.
  • Youth Leadership (YL)
    • Making calls to potential sites, speakers, scheduling busses for the youth program, assisting director of youth.
    • Back up staff for the YL program.
    • Occasionally, be facilitator / lead for youth program virtually.
  • Leadership Buffalo Essentials (LBE)
    • Making calls to potential sites, speaker for the LBE program, assisting director of programs.
    • Attending LBE day sessions, being the point person for the day including introducing speakers, traveling to sites on busses with cohorts, conducting end of day reflections.
