Program Manager

The primary role of the Program Manager is to help support the programs and alumni activities of Leadership Buffalo, Inc. As an integral member of the Leadership Buffalo team, this position will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities will include working with the following programs:

  • Class Experience
  • Rising Leaders
  • Experience Buffalo
  • Leadership Buffalo Revisited
  • Leadership Buffalo Essentials
  • Youth Leadership

For the above programs and initiatives, specific responsibilities will include:

  • Program design and implementation for all day and evening sessions
  • Assist in Day Session Planning Team Meetings
  • Assist in coordinating all logistics for day and evening sessions
  • Coordinate logistics and participate in opening and closing program retreats
  • Coordinate and participate in leadership development training
  • Conduct and analyze program surveys and membership surveys, to be utilized for program and process improvement
  • Assist in participating in event planning for sessions and alumni events that include:
    • Values Award Luncheon
    • Class Chair Meetings
    • Golf Tournament
    • Welcome Reception
    • Recruitment Open House
    • Class Graduations
    • All Class Happy Hours
    • Reunion Retreat
    • LB Project
    • Bowling Tournament
  • Assist with recruitment for all programs.
  • Work collaboratively with LB staff on all aspects of organizations act as staff person for programs in absence of CEO for certain programs.

Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree with three or more years' experience in a similar or relevant role. We also need an individual with excellent public speaking skills, leadership qualities and administrative capabilities. Must be team oriented with the ability to multi-task on many different projects and be highly self-motivated. The position is full-time with occasional early morning and evening hours required.
