Program Manager / Marketing Coordinator

The primary role of the Program Manager / Marketing Coordinator is to lead the efforts for the Youth Program and Leadership Buffalo Essentials (LBE) Programs along with coordinating marketing initiatives for Leadership Buffalo. As an integral member of the Leadership Buffalo team, this position will report directly to the CEO.

In addition, in the position would include supporting the Program Director with the Class Experience and Rising Leaders Programs.

For the Youth Program and LBE, specific responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment for programs in conjunction with CEO
  • Program design and implementation for all day sessions
  • Coordinate all logistics for day sessions
  • Facilitate all programs – acting as point person for the duration of the sessions

For the Marketing Coordinator position:

  • Manage all social media postings(LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Manage website updates (in conjunction with outsourced marketing specialist)
  • Coordinate Advertisements for Buffalo News, Business First and Buffalo spread (with outsourced marketing specialist for creative)
  • Manage Network News (LB’s weekly email communication)
  • Conduct all surveys for all programs (CE, RL, EB, LBE and YL)

  • Bowling Tournament

This person will work collaboratively with LB staff on all aspects of organizations act as staff person for programs in absence of CEO for certain programs.

Our ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree with three or more years' experience in a similar or relevant role. We also need an individual with excellent public speaking skills, leadership qualities and administrative capabilities. Must be team oriented with the ability to multi-task on many different projects and be highly self-motivated. The position is full-time with occasional early morning and evening hours required.
