LEADERSHIP BUFFALO APPLICANT COMMITMENT
Please read the following and initial.
This must be completed for your application to be considered for the 2025 programs.
ATTENDANCE/PARTICIPATION:
- Full attendance at all-day sessions (8:00 am - 5:00 pm), Leadership Development dates, and the opening & closing retreats (Each retreat includes two full days plus one overnight) is required.
- Only two absences will be allowed for personal/work situations.
- Please note day sessions will be on Wednesdays in 2025.

TUITION:
- Tuition for the Class Experience and Rising Leaders is $5,600. Tuition is non-refundable.
- Upon acceptance, a $1,000 non-refundable payment toward tuition is required no later than December 8, 2024.
- Full tuition payment is expected by January 10, 2025.
SCHOLARSHIPS:
- A limited number of partial tuition scholarships are available and are determined by need.
- Candidates wishing to apply for tuition assistance must complete the Application for Financial Assistance form by October 11, 2024, to be considered.

I understand the goals and commitments of the Leadership Buffalo program. If selected, I am willing to devote the time necessary to be a contributing member of the Leadership Buffalo Class. I understand that I am personally responsible for any tuition not paid by my financial sponsor(s) or by scholarship assistance. I further understand that if I fail to meet these obligations, I will be asked to withdraw from the program.
By signing/initialing below, I attest that:
- I have reviewed the schedule and am available for all-day sessions, Leadership Development Days, and both mandatory retreats.
- I have reviewed and agree with the attendance policy. If selected, I will secure personal and professional support including a communication plan to ensure that I do not miss valuable experiences.
- If selected, I will honor my commitment to improving my community by actively contributing to at least one Class Project.
- If accepted, I will block off all-day sessions, leadership development sessions, and both retreats on my calendar.
- If accepted, I will actively participate in each day session and interact respectfully with my fellow participants, staff, and all speakers and facilitators.
