Leadership Buffalo Employer Commitmment

This must be completed for your employee's application to be considered for the 2026 programs.
ATTENDANCE/PARTICIPATION:
- Full attendance at all-day sessions (8:00 am - 5:00 pm), Leadership Buffalo University (LBU) dates, and the opening & closing retreats (Each retreat includes two full days plus one overnight) is required.
- Only two absences will be allowed for personal/work situations.
- Please note that all day sessions and LBU sessions will be on Wednesdays in 2026.
TUITION:
- Tuition for the Class Experience and Rising Leaders is $5,600. Tuition is non-refundable.
- Upon acceptance, a $1,000 non-refundable payment toward tuition is required no later than December 19, 2025.
- Full tuition payment is expected by January 9, 2026.
SCHOLARSHIPS:

Leadership Buffalo is committed to making our programs accessible. A limited number of partial tuition scholarships are available and awarded based on financial need.
Candidates interested in applying for tuition assistance must complete the financial assistance section within the online program application.
EMPLOYER:
If selected, I agree to allow my employee to devote the time necessary to be an active, contributing member of the Leadership Buffalo Class. (Candidates who are self-employed should sign at the employer’s name /initial).
By signing/initialing below, I attest that:
- I am willing to permit this person to take the time needed for the retreats, day sessions, and LBU sessions.
- I will create a communication cadence with this person for the day sessions that allows them to engage completely.
